Pickup road/rail vehicles from SCT-RAIL are eminently suitable as a rugged and versatile maintenance, repair and route inspection vehicles, as tools and materials can be transported in addition to personnel. When traveling on rail, the pick-up is driven and braked by the rubber wheels. The rail guide is pressed onto the rail with monitored hydraulic pressure.
